Our Conversations

video
I am so mad I can't get the first part of Solon's story uploaded because he starts it off with "Once upon a time there were Eskimos, bears and dinosaurs..."  He talks pretty much all day and it is funny to hear what thoughts are rolling around in his big head.

One Lucky Girl

With aunts like Cookie has...I don't think she will ever go without.  Amanda got her the sweet ladybug outfit which I cannot wait for her to wear this summer. And Sally sent what appears to be Ansley's entire fabulous wardrobe.  I had so much fun hanging everything up this morning and cannot wait to show Jay when he gets home.  We are entering into a much more exciting fashion world compared to boy's clothes.

Goodies Galore

Birthday cake and a castle pinata filled with candy.  Solon was so cracked out on sugar by the time we got home that Jay and I were ready for him to go to bed by the time 7 rolled around.  He had so much fun so I guess it was worth it.

Another Princess Party

One of Solon's friends from the YMCA invited him to her birthday party.  There were a ton of kids, and Solon had a complete blast.  Here he is chatting up Princess Lollipop and having his face painted like Spiderman.

Second Time Around

Amanda and Caelan stayed with us Friday night before they hit the road back to Michigan. We had a great time with the boys playing together.  Jay introduced Caelan to the ways of the force, and then read them a book before bed.

Stencil

Solon and I went to Micheal's last week to buy some stencils for a top secret project.  It will be revealed in the next few weeks:)

The March Is On

March 1st has finally arrived! I feel like I have waited forever for it to come around. Cookie will be here in a matter of weeks, and we are pretty excited.  So my first (and only) Cabbage Patch Kid, Claire Clarisse, is seen here modeling a new addition to Cookie's wardrobe.  Trudy Horne sent them to me a week ago, and I was instantly excited because they remind me of the ones Sally, Janie and I wore when we were little!

So on the to do list this week.  Download all videos off camcorder so it will be ready to go to hospital.  Pack bags for hospital.  Leave instructions for Sally/Janie on how to get to hospital.  Buy diapers.  And rest my super sore back.

Muffin has been quite the trooper putting up with my lack of energy and slow pace.  Yesterday, he sat on my 'lap' and played cars on my stomach...and sang a few songs to Cookie.  I promised him that I would be ready to play chase and other stuff by the time summer rolls around.
