Sally delivered a baby boy today, Luke Tenhet Rabinowitz! He is 8 lbs and 11 ounces! We are awaiting photos, but Janie said he has lots of black hair and his dad's cheshire smile! Jay, Solon and I popped a bottle of champagne in celebration!
Rusty and Taco have been so good the past week with braving the outside cold temperatures during the day and sleeping in the bathroom at night. Their reward was Thanksgiving leftovers. Yumm. Turkey.
Imad, Leigh and Henry arrived Wednesday afternoon as well! Solon loved meeting his Aunt Leigh-B. We went out to dinner at Chin Chin where Henry and Jay had a burping contest. Solon slept in the corner while all of us ate too much food.
Shane, Emily and Savannah stopped by Wednesday for a few hours to meet Solon and hang out. Solon got a super cute blanket with his name and birthday embroidered on it as well as a santa cap and boots for Christmas.
Jay and I introduced Solon to Matt and Meridith while catching the annual Macy's Day Thanksgiving parade. We got to see Hello Kitty and Ronald McDonald floating down the streets.
Jay ran his first half-marathon early Thanksgiving morning. It was about 35 degrees outside when he started out. He finished just shy of two hours and now is hobbling around with sore knees.
Our little guy is a week old today. To commemorate, we took him on his first stroll around the neighborhood and put him in his first pair of pants. He also lost his belly button scab.
Not much going on today. It is rainy and cold. Solon has moved up to 3 oz of formula every 3 hours yesterday and has since grown an extra chin and doubled the size of his cheeks.
