Cu-Cu-Kazoo

Jay had a kazoo up at his office and let Solon play with it one day while I went to a dentist appointment. And all he had to do was show him once how to do it (hum into it for those not in the know) and he has now added it to his toy box. He will typically hold it by himself but the day I took the video he was being a little lazy.

And This TV Too???

Not only does he understand the remote...he knows the on/off button on the ancient TV in our bedroom. He will sit there and turn it on and off repeatedly. (We really need some sunshine.)

The Magic Wand

I think Solon understands what the remote is. He presses buttons and waves it at the TV sometimes during the day. I am going to rat him out. He loves Oprah and Martha Stewart.

Roads....Where We're Going We Don't Need Roads

Ahhh. The Delorean! The valet at Lenox thought we were complete loons for taking photos or ourselves in front of it.

Did I Mention All The Rain?

Just me and Solo...staring at one another all day:) I have listened to the Annie soundtrack at least 20 times this week. I love Annie. But I have officially O.D.ed.

So Close

Solon is petting Tummy through the window. And she is acting like she can really feel it.

Please Go Away

The rain...it has been relentless. Lake Lanier is back up to it's normal levels. 17' above where it was a year ago. Jez. Anyway, Solon and I are getting very bored indoors. I mean how many times can we play in the drawer and read "Where is My Belly Button?"

Stream of People

Looks like we weren't the only ones who decided to head back to the Grove at half-time. We stayed until dark. Our tent was one of the last ones standing by the time we packed up. I quit taking photos at this point, but we all headed back to the house and danced to some music and then ordered 5 large pizzas! Thanks for a fabulous trip Lyle!

Brrrr.

Lyle and Sarah had seats in the student section, and we were here with everyone else. Which was perfect because we had cover from the drizzle. Too bad Ole Miss couldn't get a first down. We stayed through half-time and headed back to the tent for more food and drinks.

Cheese

Needle In A Haystack

We finally found our tent. The amount of people out on the Grove was unbelievable. We met some of Lyle's fellow students and watched the football team parade past us. Some of these tents were really decked out....complete with chandeliers.

Mr. President!

Kyle Gravell:) We all stopped by Lyle's office at the Law School on our way to the Grove. He looked pretty official behind his desk!

Our Own Private Balcony

We all met up at City Grocery and then Lyle lead us to a private balcony directly on the Square. We had food, drinks and an incredible view of all the people hanging out. A really great night.

Ready to Go

We all got dressed up! And Lyle drove all of us girls to the Square/City Grocery so we wouldn't have to walk in our uncomfortable shoes.

Boy Decor

I love how boys decorate their houses. They make furniture out of the coolest things. End table....oh these drums will work perfectly. I have to give Lyle even more credit for the Gustav Klimt print he had hanging in his den.

Pre Party

We sat outside and had a couple of beers before time to get dressed up for a night out on the Square.

The Host

Yeah! Lyle finally shows up.
