Five Months Old

She is growing by the day, and is about the sweetest thing ever.  All she does is smile!

Heading North

Sally, Janie and I are flying out of Atlanta tomorrow morning and heading to St. Louis!  Our cousin, Margo, is getting married!  Amanda is coming over from Michigan! Going to be a fun weekend with NO KIDS!  I don't think I can put enough exclamation points after that last sentence!

Little Messy Man

We took a try at making our own Play-Doh one afternoon, and it turned out to be more of a soupy, sticky mess.  But Solon didn't care..he tasted it and said it was yukky but that his dinosaurs liked playing in it.

And as for the slippers.  Sometimes Solon comes home from YMCA camp and immediately runs upstairs and takes off his shoes and puts his Cars slippers on...His way of telling me that he is done for the day and just wants to relax.

Too bad I don't have more photos from Ann/Nana's birthday party!  We had a fun pasta dinner and then blackberry cobbler.  And Ann scored a Kindle Fire!

Check Up

I took Tudor-Beach to her 4 month check-up today.  She weighs 15 lb-12 oz (90th percentile) and is 27 1/4" long (off the chart per doctor). I really hope I don't end up being the short one in our family.

The Force Is Strong With This One

I will never forget this night for as long as I live..because Muffin was the cutest he has ever been.  Jay heard about Star Wars at the Braves Stadium over the radio and told me we had to go.  So us four headed over Friday night, and suited Muffin up in his Darth outfit, Tudor-B in her black onesie and us two in Star Wars-themed t-shirts.  Solon's little eyes couldn't believe everything he was seeing when we got into the stadium. All these other kids dressed up and then the life-size characters from the movies.  He spotted an older man dressed as the Emperor and actually got scared.  When we left the park, Solon would throw on his mask and 'scare' people.  He got lots of cute responses from all the older girls/women.

It was a super fun night!

Never Gets Old

Jay teaches Solon little statements all the time...and they get to repeating them...and then it is a non-stop joke.  This is the current one.  Finding all sorts of ways to say we "are going to think about that...hmm."

I don't get out much. I know. I should:)  I spend from 4:50 a.m to 7:15 pm with these silly monsters all by myself some days. And that makes me a bit crazy..so I take pictures!
