Somebody Stop Me

Soccer season is here, and I will not be able to edit down photos until it is over:)  Solon has a real coach this time, and he is British.  Coach Ben.  And he is awesome.  He had all these kids running around and actually looking coordinated.  And Tudor-Beach was loving being outside.

And I am sure he tells this to everyone, but the coach told Jay that Solon is a natural.

Something Different

We had to throw out all the rice cereal after all the news reports regarding arsenic in them...and we decided to try green peas.  Solon loved these, but Peaches just isn't buying.  She really is very spoiled.  She doesn't nap...unless she is in your arms.  And all she wants is her bottle.  And she isn't sitting up!

Kick Off Season

Time for soccer! Solon has his first game this Thursday afternoon, so we had to go out and buy some bigger cleats for him.  He wore them all day and practiced kicking in the backyard.

Look What I Learned

Muffin came home today singing this song...the months of the year...almost:)

Kitchen Co.

These two kept me company while cooking:)

Up High

She wanted to be held up so she could see Jay and Solon mowing the lawn.

6 Months

Wow. I don't even know where to begin. Yes. Tudor-B turned 6 months on Thursday, but more importantly she gained the moniker of Grumpy.  She has been sick all week, and if you don't have kids there is NO way I can detail how painful that is for those around.  All she wanted was to be held, so I had to call in the reserves (Ann) every day around 4 pm just so I wouldn't toss this little grump into the garbage can:)  I couldn't squeak out one smile the entire 5 days...unless I sang Carly Ray Jepsen's song...the things you do.  So here she is. My little tater tot...frowny face...pudding pop..honey bun...peaches. In all her glory:)

Cheering Section

Tudor-B is actually getting old enough to where she can actually keep us with her surroundings.  We took Muffin out to Chastain to hit a few tennis balls, and I pulled her out of her stroller so she could watch all the action.

Saturday Football

All five of us hung out Saturday afternoon/night and watched football.  Well, Ann and Jay watched football. Solon watched a movie upstairs with a big tub of popcorn.  Tudor-Beach played on her rug and ate rice cereal.  And I read my new Vanity Fair cover to cover.

On My Mind

Today he would have been 68. I just got off the phone with Janie, and she is going to take flowers out to the cemetery.  Then Thursday, she and the Rabinowitz clan are going to do steak and potatoes in honor of him.  I haven't quite decided how we are going to mark today, but something that he would have loved.

Happy Birthday Daddy:)

One of those days

that I wish had a nanny. I had to have a mole/freckle removed on my stomach yesterday and have a bunch of stitches. and all Tudor-Beach wants to do is be held (which hurts) and Solon wants to karate chop me all day long (which also hurts).  I called Jay at 5:15 and said you are coming home right now...I am done and done with these two boogers.

Queen

Can you make out the song? He sings it all the time!

Man Cheering

We all watched MSU beat up on Auburn Saturday..and Solon was cheering it all on! Not sure if this is the official way to pronounce DAWGs. But he has the right spirit:)

Few Extra Beach Pics

Before crabbing last Sunday night, we had dinner at Crabs on the beach.  The weather was awesome, and our table was literally in the sand.  So the boys had fun running around on the sand dunes, and we even had a few races.
