First Trip To The Zoo...That She Remembers:)

Solon won his "competition"  which basically consisted of him sleeping in his own bed for 14 nights in a row...and his reward was a trip to the zoo.  Us three headed out Saturday morning, and we weren't quite prepared for how cold it was going to be.  I had to wrap Tudor-B in my coat and stroll in short sleeves. Solon had so much fun as always.  Dancing to the music at the front gates and guiding us all the way through the park:)

Little Tot.

The ladies up at the Y have dubbed her the "Toy-Taker."  I don't think any of us grown ups are amused, and we are trying to figure out how to break her.  She gets what she wants by shear vocal skills.  She is so LOUD you cave into her demands.  Still no walking.  But she loves to swing.  And her 12 month check up this past Tuesday resulted in the following stats.

Weight:  21 lbs 8 oz
Height:  31 1/4"
Head circ.:  18"

Did I mention she pitched a fit in the doctor's office so terrible that Dr. Harris was afraid she was going to pass out. UGH.  Despite my ranting about her big mouth..Tudor-Tot/Kickapoo has her sweet moments.

Our New Game

This came about by accident.  I handed Tudor a towel one night after supper, and she started throwing it over her head..and then I would act like I couldn't find her.  Now every time she spots any sort of clothing/towel she starts playing it.

Playing Together

You will blink and miss it, but these two will play with one another for a few minutes each day.  Fingers crossed that it starts happening for longer periods.

Scared-y Cat

Solon spotted some sort of bug on the floor, and I found him a few seconds later sitting here on the dining table.

So So Sweet

These two guys waiting and waving to Papo as he came home from work.

That Time Of Year Again

Soccer season picked up last week, and Solon was happy to see that he has Coach Ben the Brit once again!

Another Milestone

This was the last can of formula we will ever buy.  I held onto it for a few weeks because I was being too sentimental.  How many scoops of this stuff have I shoveled...The only thing I won't miss.  The price tag.  Close to $30 a container.

Upgrade

Sadly the baby carrier is no more!  Tudor-Tot has gotten big enough to sit in a big car seat and face forward.  So, Muffin got a new seat that has 2 cup holders and is an awesome black color:)

Rolling out

It was hard saying goodbye. I feel so lucky to have these crazy girls in my life:)

QT

Marmee (Mary) and Tudor-Beach playing together.  Too sweet. Mary reminds me so much of Momma...it was almost like I could picture Momma there. Loved every second of it.

Mary and Her Zombies

Mary and Margo disappeared for a bit, and then we spotted them down below.  They were zombies.  Long story!

The ChimiChicas VS the Burritas!

Well somewhere around 3 pm Julie broke out six sombreros!  And the day...and night got funnier and funnier.  We played board games.  (He is LIGHT ON HIS FEET.) Listened to music. Enjoyed a great dinner of chicken spaghetti.  Toasted Nanna many times.  And then made crazy hair with red Solo cups.  I think Tudor-Tot got a true taste of the family.
