Tudor-Beach's soccer career at the age of 3 was not much to write home about...But man she was cute as all get out when running around in her outfit.

Book Club

We have had a Book Club going on our 3rd year.  We get together for birthdays as well. This was Pam and Tonya's bday celebration at Union Public House.

This video was taken sometime in the Fall of 2013.  The Hughes girls and us 3 girsl + Tot all rented a cabin in TN.  We spent the weekend just hanging out, and Tudor-Beach got a ride on her pink blankie courtesy of Aunt Mary.

The Biscuit

Hott and Richard had a baby girl, Lillian, back in December 2015.  Her cute nickname is Biscuit. So, I have yet to meet her, but Jay and Solon got an opportunity when visiting Leigh-B and Family in DC a couple of weeks ago.

Tot and I went on an ice cream run while Jay and Solon were in DC.  She was suffering from a stomach bug, so this ice cream didn't last long.  We also went to a bday party at Chuck E. Cheese while they were gone.  Lots of fun rides.  Solon and Tot look forward to hitting Spirit every year to see all the Halloween decorations.  Tot modeling her new pajamas. And then Jaws chilling in Eames chair.

September at the Beach

The best time of the year to hit the beach. Late September and October.  The water clears up and the heat isn't quite so unbearable.  Spent this Sunday reading the paper while Jay and kids played in water.

Fall Soccer

It has been super hot standing out there watching Solon play soccer.  The girls spend their time on the playground and finding shade.

Another Stripe

Master Tony bestowed a stripe on the boy's gray belts!  You can tell how long they have been going to jujitsu by looking at how short their pant legs are on them. Highwaters.  Time for new gees.

Solon and Luke enjoyed a tennis camp during the early part of Spring 2016.  Sally, girls and I would sit on the sidelines and freeze while we watched them hit balls.

Tot and I always have a little down time before she goes into school.  We usually spend it with me pushing my seat all the way back in the truck and she climbs into my lap.  We play our game "Relax" or just talk.

Going to The Mall

Tudor-Beach spotted this little, green backpack in a shoe store early in the year.  Oh she wanted it so bad.  At the time, she was not sleeping in her bed all night, so we told her that if she could string together a full week of sleeping alone...then we would buy her "Baby Backpack."  We went to the mall a couple times every week...for a few months...just to look at it.  We went there so much that the check out girl knew the backstory and promised to make sure no one would scoop it out from underneath her:)

Fraiser Clan

Jay's Uncle Jerry and Aunt Peggy came to town for a long weekend.  They brought their granddaughter, Shelby, and we got a quick visit with their son Doug.  Lots of fun spent out at the beach and dinner at the Green Monster.

Strong River 2016

The excitement was off the charts.  For me. For Solon and Luke.  How crazy to be back at a camp I hadn't seen in 25 years.  Solon and I stood in front of Cabin 4. The last one I slept in so many years ago.  The most favorite part of my childhood was spent at Strong River.  And Solon and Luke were dropped off for a week! and loved every second of it.  They made friends with Will and Seth (Jo and Bill Usry's grandsons).  I got to see Mrs. Tay.  And Solon and I checked our shuffle board.  I cried the entire time I was there..and driving off. Most magical place on earth.

Vicksburg 2015

We visited our Aunt Penny and her daughters, Betsy and Emily, in Vicksburg last October.  2 days of wine, food and laughing.  This photo is deceiving.  We spent 99% of our weekend in PJs! We managed to get out for a few drinks and check out the new rooftop bar overlooking the MS River.
