Stand In The Place Where You Sleep

..now face North. I was trying to pick up toys with Solon in my arms and figured it would just be easier to put him in the crib. He pulled himself up so he could watch me.

Pouring Rain

Well, it has been raining all day, so we had to play with the phone and other toys some more. We went swimming yesterday, so I didn't want to do that again. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better weather!

Happy New Trails

Solon and I were heading out for our afternoon walk when I saw a firetruck go by and a bunch of people standing out on the sidewalk. They are replacing all the sewage lines in the neighborhood and there was a gas leak. They closed down some streets and evacuated some houses (not ours), so we decided to head up to Chastain Park and hit the trail going around the golf course. We just barely made a lap before it started raining.

New Phone

I lost my old phone, and Solon spent some time on the bed today checking my new one out.

How Much Would You Like To Withdrawl

Solon just had a bath, and I give him the very serious banker hair-do when he gets out. It works itself out by morning, so he only has to look a little nerdy for a few hours.

No Pillows

Solon has gotten so good at staying upright that I felt okay with bringing him into the kitchen while I got the dogs fed. He immediately went for the garbage can. Trying to grab hold of a big round shiny thing is not that easy. He was trying to bear hug it and stand up. So a few spills.

Hello In There

Caught Solon staring at himself in the mirror. I was doing stuff around the house and moved him out to the den to scoot around. He kept trying to get to Megan's water bowl. And..trying to pull up on the coffee table.

Small Steps

In my sewing class this past Monday, the teacher had us practice our sewing skills before we could begin our projects. We had to do a couple of different width seams on the machines which was pretty easy. Then I was able to work on my pillow. I got the pattern cut out and sewed on the loop fringe. Next week, I will finish it and begin on my next project....which is to be determined this weekend.

Second Life

Well, the bouncy has found another use. Solon crawls for it every time I set him down in his room...to use as a support to half-way stand.

Faint Bruise

After Solon's bath and his hair had been brushed, you can see the slight bruise on his forehead from his tumble off the bed.
