Boy Time

Solon was all about Jay this weekend. He didn't want to do anything but be right in his lap. He would squeal if I tried to pick him up or take him an inch away from Jay.

HGTV In Our Part of Town

Ann is a huge fan of HGTV and turned me and Jay onto this show called Curb Appeal. It is hosted by John Gidding who is an architect, and the show is based here in Atlanta. And not too much of a surprise a lot of his projects are located in our part of town. This house was featured in yesterday's show. It is in Sylvan Hills which is 2 minutes from our house. They fixed up the front porch, laid down a stone path and painted. The show also spends a little bit of time and money on places around the featured house. This time they repainted the front door of a church and spiffed up the neighbors yard and fence. Pretty exciting! Now I just need to figure out how to wrangle me my on HGTV show.

Slow Stroll

Solon wanted to walk part of the way home. He took a few detours.

Short But Sweet

It was cold out today, but we took Solon down to the park for a little playground time. He got wet climbing through one of the tunnels, so we hustled back home so he didn't turn into a popsicle.

The Best Way To End

Caro fell in love with Jay's fur-line boots. She sported them late-night at the house while he was gone. Anyway, the night was winding down, and Hott broke them out again. Along with her fabulous Pink Floyd PJ bottoms. I can't think of a better set of photos to end such a great time. And PS. Caro...Jay doesn't let just anybody wear his shoes:)

Kicking It In the Kitchen

After we put Solon to bed, we hung out and had a blast catching up! We told lots of stories. The best one had to be mine and Caro's Tiffany's stories. We both have bracelets from there with special meanings. It just further cemented how much she and I are two peas in a pod. Yes. Sally and Janie. That was a grandma statement:)

Oh Wait...

Did I say that Solon missed Jay. He knows where the real lovin' exists! With the girls.

Someone Missed Their Papa

If you can't tell, Solon was needing some serious time with Jay. He really missed him.

How About Some Real Food

After all that Rotel, Solon wasn't buying his green beans.

Another Rusty On Our Hands

Just begging. Solon fell head over heels in love with Rotel. He would get a bite...then scamper off for a few seconds...then come back wanting more..more..more.

All In the House

We were so excited to have Jay back home. We made a big pot of chicken & dumplings and rotel. Then we all kicked back, drank beer and watched football. Or Jay watched football. Oh the Saints won? Yeah! Sorry I was busy talking:)
