Lukey Turns 4! (Kind Of)

Since everyone was together, we celebrated Lukey's birthday a few days early.  I am not sure if my pictures do their excitement justice in regards to the bouncy that magically appeared in the backyard.  Solon, Luke and Mattox bounced on it for at least 5 hours straight.  Solon's legs were actually sore for two days afterwards:)

Backyard Camping

On the eve of Luke's birthday party, we set up a backyard camping compound.  Three tents, lots of chairs and a fire pit.

Full House

What a super fabulous Thanksgiving! Great people.  Great weather. Great cooks! The only let down was MSU's bust in the Egg Bowl.

Anyway, the house was so full that Tudor-Beach had her Pack & Play set up in a bathroom...which actually was perfect.  It kept her from waking up when all 15 adults were downstairs trying to out-talk each other.  We had a few impromptu dance-offs.  Played yard games.  Made Indian outfits for the boys.  Jay, Sally, Janie and I ran the Pensacola Beach Turkey Trot. Tudor-Beach practiced her crawling.  Solon and the other boys went on a few bike rides and played from sun up to well past their bed time.

TGIVING 2012

It feels like I JUST posted this picture for last Thanksgiving.  Hard to believe a year has gone by already.

This time last year, we were about to head to Greenwood to spend the holiday with Nanna.  I am so glad we did because I have such sweet memories of sitting with her late one night.  She and Jay drinking wine and me..sipping on tea.  We asked her lots of questions about her life.  When was she happiest? When was the hardest time in her life? And then for our big meal, us three girls and our families sat with her around Eli and sampled my new dressing recipe, laughed and enjoyed the quiet (the kids were napping!).

So without Nanna, we are all meeting in Pensacola to celebrate.  The extended Rabinowitz crew will all be there with their significant others.  And as a special treat the Collins will join as well. Lots of people = Lots of fun!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

8 Months Old

I think I missed last month's milestone, so despite being swamped right now! I wanted to post a pic of little Tudor-Beach, Peaches, Tudor-Tot...

She is a pretty happy thing minus the past few days.  She has had a sinus infection, and has kept Jay and I up much of the night for the past couple go arounds.

You love Solon and laugh at about anything he does...which sometimes includes jumping very near you.  You get very excited whenever I put the Baby Bjorn on. You start flapping your arms and kicking your legs.  I take this as a sign that I am your favorite:)  Anyway, we are gearing up to celebrate our first holidays with you. And I can't wait!

Thanks To Everyone!

There were so many people who made Muffin's big day so special.  He loved opening up the door and finding packages addressed to him, and cards from far away.

One card being from Julie...and man.  This $10 is going to buy lots of stuff in his mind:)

Thank you everyone!! Much love!

Racing

I had so much fun watching Muffin racing cars.

He Turned Four!

What a special and super fun weekend we spent with Mupps.  It is hard to believe he has been with us for four long years!  We did so many things to ring in his new number.  We made chocolate chip pancakes with whip cream.  We went to a neighbor's birthday party and enjoyed pizza and jumpy castles.  We set up a treasure hunt, so he scoured the house for all his gifts.  We played with all his new toys! We painted his new monster trucks.  And we wrapped it all up by pulling out the 'magic' bed and enjoying hot dogs, a big fire, popcorn and a movie.

Solon is the sweetest boy you never seen:)
