Finally Found It!

I am not sure how many times I have circled the Leflore County Courthouse searching for this cornerstone.  My mom and Nanna told me when Solon was born that Solon Brown's name was on it.  So we looked and looked but never had any luck.  However, we did have a little fun trying.

One night a whole group of us trekked across the Yazoo River from Nanna's and went crawling all around the building and came up with nothing. We did however end up getting a personal tour of the house that The Help was filmed in..due to Aunt Penny knowing the owners!

Anyway, long story short..we decided to make one last try this trip.  Jay ran in and asked a clerk if he knew where it was, and he laughed and said by the front door.  I KNOW we looked there a thousand times, but here it was sitting in front of our faces.  You can see S.I. Brown as a member of the Board of Supervisors.
