We bought our first flip. Sally, Janie and I formed Elder Grove LLC. The name comes from the Delta land our family has owned for 6 generations. So many people who got us to this point in our lives. We talked to Daddy about doing this years and years ago. He walked potential properties with us when Sally/Janie first moved to Pensacola. My brother-in-law, Matt, and I went to a seminar to learn how to develop budgets. Jay and Jason. I could go on and on. So many conversations have been spent determining what we want out of life. What we want our kids to see us doing. And what we can give them. And this is a big first step. Scary.
Tomorrow demolition begins on the house. Tearing out carpet and all the old stuff. Meeting with sub-contractors. Getting a dumpster delivered. Ripping out bushes.
What did Daddy always say he wanted for us. I want y'all to be happy. Well. Well. We are taking a go at it.
