Good Grub Food
We all headed to Sidelines for dinner. We had such a large group that we needed two tables. And I must say there were a lot of people around us who were a little worried when they saw three high chairs. But they should have been more afraid of all of us over 5'. We were pretty loud. And Janie showed us a fancy trick. She tied a cherry stem into a knot using only her tongue. The only person I have ever seen do this was my cousin Emily. She showed me once when I was about 8 years old, and we were having dinner at Galatoie's in New Orleans. I was pretty impressed. Even more so because I tried it on my own and ended up with just a bunch of mush in my mouth. Anyway, we had fun eating wings, hot dogs and jalapeno poppers!
Other Special Occasions
We had belated birthday gifts for Jason and Janie, so they opened them up after Jay had his party and we enjoyed sitting in our new patio chairs. Janie got a cool new purse (replica of a Balenciaga), and Jason got a Bud shirt and moustache. He sported the moustache a few times over the weekend. It was a little strange in the hot tub later that night. I think he scared some of the teenagers off with it.

Seeing Pink
It Was For Decoration
Janie spent a few nights out at the condo the week before we all visited, and one night she half-jokingly made a comment about using this bowl (which was filled with seashells) as her brandy snifter. Well, we weren't in the condo for more than an hour before Jason whipped up a huge batch of strawberry daiquiris, filled up the 'snifter' and rigged together some long straws. And ta-da! A drink for all of us to enjoy...and we did...very quickly.
The following night the 'snifter' sat back on the dining room table all clean, and my mom passingly made a comment that it would make for a good drink glass. Great minds....
