Somebody Give This Boy Some Cake

Sally brought a coffee cake to the condo, and Solon got a piece of it and blew up into a full on addict.

Book Worms

Amanda and Sally spent some QT with the boys and read them a few books before time for bed.

Good Grub Food

We all headed to Sidelines for dinner. We had such a large group that we needed two tables. And I must say there were a lot of people around us who were a little worried when they saw three high chairs. But they should have been more afraid of all of us over 5'. We were pretty loud. And Janie showed us a fancy trick. She tied a cherry stem into a knot using only her tongue. The only person I have ever seen do this was my cousin Emily. She showed me once when I was about 8 years old, and we were having dinner at Galatoie's in New Orleans. I was pretty impressed. Even more so because I tried it on my own and ended up with just a bunch of mush in my mouth. Anyway, we had fun eating wings, hot dogs and jalapeno poppers!

Catch Me If You Can

There were a couple of little dudes who were super excited about being set free.

I Spy Funny Glasses

We only managed to catch two of the boys in their glasses. Sally got them all a pair, and they were pretty much torn apart by the time we left.

Cute Little Dudes Doing Their Own Thing

Solon is screaming because he wants to go outside and sit with Sarah. Caelan is being so quiet and sweet while reading his book. And Luke is waiting patiently for us to get all our stuff together and head out for some dinner.

Other Special Occasions

We had belated birthday gifts for Jason and Janie, so they opened them up after Jay had his party and we enjoyed sitting in our new patio chairs. Janie got a cool new purse (replica of a Balenciaga), and Jason got a Bud shirt and moustache. He sported the moustache a few times over the weekend. It was a little strange in the hot tub later that night. I think he scared some of the teenagers off with it.

Attack of the Aunts

The boys got plenty of attention from all of us girls. Even when they got their diapers changed. Tad over the top?

Random Photos of Little People

Luke explored cupboards and applied lip gloss. Solon stared out at the water and rolled around with a teddy bear. Caelan enjoyed a snack. It was so much fun watching the three boys play and chill.

Seeing Pink

Amanda loved that I got a pink streak put in my hair and decided to do it herself. I think Matt is still a little confused on the reasoning behind it all:), but I think it is looks awesome!

It Was For Decoration

Janie spent a few nights out at the condo the week before we all visited, and one night she half-jokingly made a comment about using this bowl (which was filled with seashells) as her brandy snifter. Well, we weren't in the condo for more than an hour before Jason whipped up a huge batch of strawberry daiquiris, filled up the 'snifter' and rigged together some long straws. And ta-da! A drink for all of us to enjoy...and we did...very quickly.
The following night the 'snifter' sat back on the dining room table all clean, and my mom passingly made a comment that it would make for a good drink glass. Great minds....

The Three Mini-Musketeers

Matt bought three foam swords for the boys, and the boys actually looked semi-professional when they dueled...with the exception of Solon holding it on the wrong end most of the time.

The Michigan Crew

Matt, Amanda and Caelan arrived and the boys immediately took to the balcony to hang out. Throughout the weekend there were a handful of words that were repeated over and over. BALL. CAR. MINE. NO.
