Solon was named after my great-great-grandfather, Solon Irving Brown. Before Solon was born I tried to track down photos of his namesake, but I didn't have any luck. The plan was to frame the old photos and hang them in his nursery. Anyway, this past week I received a package in the mail from my grandmother, Nanna. In it were these three photos of Solon I. Brown (Papa Brown) and his wife Lillie Bell (Mama Brown). Nanna had come across them and thought of me..and made me copies. I am pretty excited to finally have them and plan on having them framed soon.
