There are a lot of people who won't be here to tomorrow for Solon's birthday, so I am giving a sneak preview of what is on tomorrow's agenda. Cupcake Party! We are heading up to Solon's school tomorrow at 12:30 to have a party with all of his little classmates (Maya, Julius, Alex, Carson and the rest). So today Solon watched me make his cupcakes. He licked all my spoons which reminded me so much of me and my sisters doing the same with my mom. I did a yellow cake and then white icing with some green food coloring to look more like grass....and then placed little dinosaurs on top. After the cupcake party, Solon will go down for his nap...and I will decorate the dining room and get it set up for the second stage. Which is the good part...presents! And today there were two knocks on our door and Solon drug in packages from Sally/Jason/Luke & Janie/David. He went and found a pair of scissors and came up to me several times today saying "uh. open it gita." I can't wait for tomorrow and will post photos as soon as I can!
