Jay, Ann and I showed up at Solon's class with cupcake and balloons in hand, and we had about 5 small children looking at us with surprise. We pulled up chairs and sang 'happy birthday' in both Spanish and English, and then watched the kids dig into their cupcakes. Solon only liked the icing, so he licked the tops off of about 3 of them on his own.
